Bring on the Links

Yeah, no. Only you Lacey Underall. Photo courtesy of Caddyshack.

It all began in grade four when I petitioned Dad for golf lessons alongside ballet. He said, well, never mind what he said. I think he was still hung up on his recent golf-career-crippling-wrist-ligament-injury thing... At least the ballet career was successful.

Fast forward to 21-years-old, final semester of college.
Registered for: Golf.

So when do you get to buy clothes for golf? Because Pinks and Greens is tantalizing. I have to hit the ball first, don't I? Stay tuned for lessons from the links all spring.

P.S. And here's my new favorite ESPN commercial. Because I'll forever be fond of concocting Arnold Palmers at the fountain drink machine.

  1. Ah I bet you have SO MUCH FUN. I took golf lessons during summers of middle school and beginning of high school with my best friend. I rocked adidas golf shoes with flowers on them and clubs with metallic (read: SHINY) grips. Too bad I haven't been in over a year... now your post makes me want to go sometime this spring. Plus, as my dad always said - golf and tennis. The two best sports for your career. Sounds like an appropriate way to finish up college to me.

Oh, I was terrible by the way.

  2. You're going to love golf! I took a golf course in college and had a ball. Definitely the best two credits I ever earned! Thanks for sharing the link to Pinks and Greens, their stuff is darling!

  3. that's awesome! who says you can't pick up a sport at 22?! i've wanted to take golf lessons forever! good luck!

  4. I played golf in high school. I was in 1st position all four years.

  5. How fabulous! I'm hoping to take golf lessons this summer. I look forward to hearing all about it. Happy New Year!

  6. I LOVE that Arnold Palmer commercial! It is so priceless! Hope you love your golf lessons! Golf and tennis clothes are so cute. :)

  7. I have been wanting to take golf lessons for years! So fun...

  8. My dad made my sisters and me take golf lessons every summer growing up. I hated it then but I love it now! I hope you had a great Christmas!!
